Melisev® relieves irritation, redness and inflammations caused by sunburn, minor burns, small cuts… Melisev® regenerates the skin and protects it from cellular aging by acting against the production of free radicals. Its healing properties also stimulate the regeneration process of skin after surgical operations.
100% natural soothing and repairing skincare gel, contains no preservatives. Its formula combines extracts from the following medicinal plants – Horsetail, Marigold, Cornflower and Mallow.
- Horsetail and Marigold relieve inflammation and pain.

Laboratory trials attest to the anti-inflammatory and healing properties of Melisev®
Melisev® has shown powerful healing activity as from 1% concentration, and optimal effect at 5%, in a classic healing test, the wound healing essay : It consists of causing a breach or a scar in the fibroblasts, and then evaluating the time required for cells on both sides of the wound to begin the migration process which fills the breach. At a concentration of 5%, the healing action of Melisev® proved comparable to the positive control with an induction rate equal to the Fibroblast Growth Factor (FGF), classically used to enrich the cell environment.
In an anti-inflammatory activity test designed to measure the inhibition of the production of Nitric Oxide in the macrophages of mice, previously activated by the lipopolysaccharide (LPS) of Escherichia coli, versus Dexaméthasone®, Melisev® demonstrated an anti-inflammatory activity equal to that of Dexaméthasone® at a concentration of 25%.
Furthermore, no cellular toxicity was noted.
